Serum alanine aminotransferase and γ-glutamyltranspeptidase activities: new markers for polycystic ovary syndrome

Objective: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is associated with insulin resistance, central obesity and dyslipidaemia. Furthermore, abnormal aminotransferase activity is common in women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
